Maine Lab Rescue was founded in May, 2012. We are a foster based, mostly volunteer organization. Rescue efforts are focused on saving Labs and Lab mixes from high-kill shelters in the south. While we focus on the Labrador Retriever, we also rescue other mixed breed dogs/puppies and cats/kittens (they’re our Lab wannabes!), we’re here to help where we can.
